I have Multiple Sclerosis and the heat bothers me really bad. We have tried umbrellas to block the sun so I can at least enjoy the pool during day and they just blow away or break. So I started searching on Facebook and came across North Texas Palapas and was so happy when I saw the work they do. They are doing it right, for sure! I have never seen anything like this in the area – just in resorts in Mexico etc. We were so pleased with the initial palapa above the Jacuzzi that we wanted to add another one. They made our backyard into our own little paradise.
We could not be happier with our palapa built by North Texas Palapas! They went above and beyond on the install, coming back to complete the job more times than anticipated after some unexpected hiccups. The structure looks great, and even withstood the recent hail storm and high winds with no problem! We would recommend them to anyone--we're very pleased with the work done, and it looks really awesome!
North Texas Palapas built the tiki hut / palapa for our outdoor kitchen/pool this past fall and it looks amazing! They used quality materials, were pleasant and easy to work with, and their prices are fair. The tiki hut is very solid, doesn’t leak, and has already withstood very high winds with no damage. I would highly recommend German and his crew if you are looking to have a tiki hut built.

Working with Ashley and German was an excellent experience! Ashley is a great communicator and kept us up to speed every step of the way. She was very available and always texted back very quickly when we had questions. We initially contacted her for a quote, which she sent back almost immediately. We were so excited to find out someone in this area was capable of building Palapas! Our neighbor had one in Galveston and we loved it! Once we had the quote, I spoke with her about some particular design work we wanted on our table. She and German were able to accommodate our request and we were on our way! We were installing a pool at the same time so we had to work with the pool company to schedule the install (We chose to install the table in our pool decking). German talked with our pool company and they worked out a plan. We did run into a little snag when we found out that the city of Mansfield requires this type of item to be a certain distance from the property line but we were able to work through it. My advice is to check with your city code department before you get started so you know any restrictions up front. The install went perfectly and we absolutely LOVE our Palapa table!! German’s workmanship is top notch!!! Pretty sure it will be the talk of our backyard for many years to come. It makes us feel like we are on the coast again! Needless to say, we highly recommend North Texas Palapas!!!
